In pursuance of its Action Plan for performance evaluation, assessment & accreditation and quality up-gradation of HEIs, NAAC proposed that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was established in the year 2006-07 and functions on the basis of guidelines set forth by the NAAC. The IQAC has been diligently involved in helping the Management, the Principal and other committees by offering suggestions and measures to have consistency in maintaining the quality of education. IQAC is an effective and efficient internal coordinating and monitoring mechanism.
